Your English Level is Not a Problem

A lot of students think their English isn't good enough to study in Australia. Honestly it is one of the most common things we hear. The good news is there is a clear and simple solution and thousands of students go through it every year.

What is an English Pathway?

An English pathway program, also known as ELICOS, is a course specifically designed to bring your English up to the level required by Australian universities and colleges. Instead of being turned away because your English isn't strong enough yet, you study English first at a registered English school in Australia, and then move straight into your chosen degree. It is one of the most common and most successful routes Arab students take to get into Australian universities and it is completely normal. There is no shame in it. It is just the smarter way in.

We Find the Right English School For You

Not all English schools are the same. Some are better suited to students who need a short intensive program. Others are better for students who need more time and a more gradual approach. Some have direct agreements with specific universities that guarantee your entry once you finish. Others do not. We know the difference and we match you with the right school based on your current English level, your target degree, and the institution you want to enter after. We handle the entire placement process — assessing your level, recommending the right program, and enrolling you in a school that actually connects to where you want to go next.

IELTS

The most widely recognised English test in Australia and around the world. It tests reading, writing, listening, and speaking. Available in paper and computer formats. Most Arab students are familiar with it and most Australian institutions accept it. The speaking component is done face to face with a real examiner which some students find nerve wracking.

IELTS or PTE — Which One Should You Do?

If you are not going through an English pathway program and instead want to sit an English test to meet university entry requirements directly, you will need to choose between IELTS and PTE. Here is an honest breakdown of both so you can make the right call for your situation.

Not sure which one to go for? We help you decide based on your strengths and what the institution you want to apply to specifically requires.

PTE

Pearson Test of English — A fully computer based test including the speaking component. Results come back much faster than IELTS, sometimes within 24 to 48 hours. Many students find the computer based speaking format less stressful than speaking to a real person. It is growing in acceptance across Australian universities and is now accepted by the majority of institutions.

English Plus Your Degree — One Package, One Plan

One of the smartest ways to handle your English pathway is through a package arrangement. This is where your English program and your degree are bundled together, either at the same institution or at two institutions that have a guaranteed progression agreement with each other. When you enrol in a package you arrive in Australia knowing exactly what comes next. You complete your English program, reach the required level, and move straight into your degree without reapplying or worrying about whether you will get in. The entry into your degree is already guaranteed as part of the package. The benefits are real. You save money compared to applying separately. Your student visa covers both programs from the start. And you have zero uncertainty about what happens after you finish your English course. We know which package deals exist, which ones offer the best value, and which combinations work best for which courses and budgets. We put the whole thing together for you.

What Happens After You Finish Your English Program?

Completing your English program is not the finish line, it is the starting point. What comes next matters just as much as getting there. Before you even start your English course we already have your full progression plan mapped out. We know which institution you are heading to, which course you are entering, what the English level requirement is for that course, and what you need to achieve in your program to meet it. We track your progress along the way and if we see you are getting close to finishing we make sure your next application or enrolment is already in motion. You never finish an English course and wonder what to do next. By the time you complete it everything is already in place and you move forward without any gap or delay.
